  • 1m Handicap | 8 runners

    Timeform 1-2-3

    1 Royal blue. Pasticcio
2 Black, orange hoops, orange cap. Popeswood (IRE)
3 Black, grey hoops. Scutum (IRE)

    Timeform view

Popeswood has been knocking on the door of late and merits respect, while Scutum has been eased 3 lb since his fair latest effort at Newbury and Tom Hark looks the pick of the Hannon-trained trio. However, they could all be playing for places behind Godolphin's Pasticcio, who stuck to his guns well when making all at Brighton and could turn out to be better than his opening mark implies.

  • 1m Maiden Stakes | 7 runners

    Timeform 1-2-3

1 Green, pink sash and cap, white sleeves. Ramshackle
2 White, red chevron, hooped sleeves, red cap. Water Queen
3 Red, white seams, red sleeves, white cap, red stars. Zora Seas (IRE)

    Timeform view

Water Queen and Zora Seas both possess a fair level of ability but were beaten favourite in similar events last time and may struggle to live with Ramshackle if she improves as expected on the back of an encouraging debut at Newmarket at the start of the season.

  • 7f Listed | 16 runners

    Timeform 1-2-3

1 Pink, light green cross belts, white sleeves, light green cap. Heaven's Guest (IRE)
2 Dark blue and yellow (halved), dark blue sleeves, yellow cap. Cable Bay (IRE)
3 Light green and dark green diamonds. That Is The Spirit

    Timeform view

A wide-open listed event. Heaven's Guest's recent handicap form over this trip puts him in with every chance and he gets the vote under Moore. Cable Bay was one of the best 2-y-os of last year and has to enter the reckoning, for all this is a belated return to action, while That Is The Spirit was the impressive winner of a handicap over C&D earlier in the year and ran well at Newbury last time.

  • 7f Maiden Stakes | 16 runners

    Timeform 1-2-3

1 Royal blue, white epaulets, striped cap. Alkhayyam (IRE)
2 White, maroon and white quartered cap. Holland Park
3 Yellow, royal blue chevron, royal blue cap. Tannaaf (IRE)

    Timeform view

This has the makings of a good maiden with Holland Park and Wentworth Falls, both of whom shaped with plenty of promise on their respective debuts, taking on several well-bred newcomers from top yards. Of the aforementioned duo, Holland Park is particularly appealing but Alkhayyam, who boasts a stellar pedigree, could be worth chancing on debut. Capel Path and Tannaaf are also of strong interest.

  • 6f Handicap | 11 runners

    Timeform 1-2-3

1 Royal blue, white seams, royal blue cap, white star. Gabbiano
2 Maroon, orange chevron and sleeves, yellow cap. Liberty Jack (IRE)
3 Light blue, light blue and purple diabolo on sleeves, light blue cap, purple diamond. Joey's Destiny (IRE)

    Timeform view

Gabbiano has left the impression in recent starts that he's getting close to breaking his seasonal duck, not for the first time faring better than his finishing position suggests at Ascot last time, and he gets the vote ahead of Liberty Jack and Joey's Destiny.
